Get ready for Mushroom! This unassuming bar could easily be missed if you walking past during the day as it is just a door entrance on the busy Grainger street in the heart of Newcastle. Once inside you are led down the stairs to a jumping venue playing uptodate chart and dance songs. This is a very popular venue for locals as it is seriously bouncing on a weekend. The bar of the venues stretches across the full venue on the right hand side so you will not have to wait to long for a drink. Mushroom itself is also well known for their delightful cocktail selection with the bar staff regularly making a skittles and cheeky vimto for their punters to enjoy. Retro is a newly rebranded bar that used to be called Label. It has a large number of deals throughout the weekend, especially the 2 for one on the Friday goes down well. They have taken the 80’s theme and ran with it, such as a large cassette wall piece made up over loads of individual cassettes, pretty cool if you know what a cassettes is? There is a vip area off the the left of the you walk into the bar as well as a good size dance floor to the rear of the venue.

Sinners is a Newcastle institution being a very popular trebles bar. The bars itself spreads across the the whole venue and with additions like the Cage this is extremely popular with both locals and Stag and Hen parties coming to Newcastle for a night out. It is the perfect venue for the Newcastle Bar Crawl as it allows you to throw your inhibitions out at the door and let your hair down whilst having great fun. Filthys is the token Irish Bar in Newcastle Bigg Market. The venue itself is extremely cool taking advantage of an in/outside space behind the outer facade. Filthys is a great addition to the Newcastle bar crawl as it plays live music and seems to work well with the slightly older uncles, dads, Aunties and Mums that find themselves reliving their youth on a Newcastle Night out.

There is a large bar that stretches half of the venue as you walk in the left hand side with a dance floor and toilets right at the back of the venue. So this is known as the live music venue of the Newcastle Bar Crawl.

Soho Rooms is a large venue on Mosley Street at the bottom of the Bigg Market in Newcastle. It is a huge venue based over two floors that is very popular with special events and nights held throughout the Month.
